Intelligent Automation: is it really the future?

The RPA technology, for its acronym in English Robotic Process Automationis a new generation technology that automates repetitive processes by means of digital robots regarding invoices, collections, expenses, etc. The intelligent automation is directly connected to RPA, since the very basis of automation is RPA.

This technology is really useful to reduce costs and time for both the company and the employees, who can redistribute part of their work to focus it on something more useful for the company. Digital robots, unlike us humans, do not need to rest or take vacations, so the automation of these processes would be  continuously and efficiently.

What is the ceiling of RPA Automation?

The expected growth of RPA, thanks to its direct connection with AI, is almost exponential, being this a new world that aspires to reach all kinds of places and companies, even going out of this technological sector. Despite being a recent technology that is just beginning to develop, the potential of such technology augurs a promising future where it can become leaders in any sector, both in automation and digitization of processes.

The idea of associating RPA technology only with large technology multinationals is something that has become outdated since the emergence of these technologies as a tool for daily use, as in the case of the famous AI Chat GPT. RPA is beginning to break out of this  technological niche as potential customers, as it is applicable to all sectors, multinational companies or SMEs. Thus, the possibilities for growth and development are practically unlimited.

With all this, we can better understand the growth if we know how the market is evolving. Currently, according to Statista, it is expected that by the year 2023, the RPA TECHNOLOGIES are expected to generate around $6 billion worldwide by 2023, with the manufacturing, banking and technology sectors as the main developers of such technology.

Although estimates are uncertain and the future economic impact of such technologies cannot be known with certainty, process automation could generate around $60 billion by 2032, which would represent a tenfold increase in less than 10 years compared to the current market.

A few years ago, small companies did not see it profitable to automate their business due to complex processes. This is something that has changed dramatically with the implementation of RPA technology, by companies such as Digital Robotsas a service (RPAaaS). This allows any company, large or small, to be able to implement automation processes in a cost-effective and simple way, thus opening up the market and multiplying global profits by a factor of 10.

RPA Automation Market in 2032: $60,000M How is it possible?

We live in a globalized and interconnected world, where technologies reach every corner of the planet, a very high market potential and an ever-increasing demand, it is difficult for process automation not to succeed in the future. We can therefore venture to say that RPA technology will no longer be the future and will end up being the present  for most companies.
